Monetary Donation

Jack Miner is a charitable organization that operates solely on grants and the generosity of private and corporation donations. There are two ways in which you can donate to the Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary:

Sponsor a bench

A dozen new benches (for the benefit of the senior visitors) are to be placed around the grounds. . A 3" x 5" aluminum plaque will be fastened to each bench with the engraved inscription:

"IN LOVING MEMORY OF .........................."

We are taking orders for "Memorial trees" to be planted, in memory of a loved one, on the Sanctuary grounds this fall.

Name a pond

We are currently in the planning stages of creating a new 10 acre pond roadside, in the hay field across from the Jack Miner main entrance. This should be a real benefit for all kinds of wildlife including deer and a variety of migratory waterfowand songbirds.

We are currently looking for sponsorship for the "New Pond" here at the Sanctuary. The pond will be named after the sponsor and an attractive sign will be erected roadside. We expect to announce the winner in September, 2011.
